On July 21, the Office of Xiamen Leading Group for BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center (BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center) and the College of International Relations of Huaqiao University signed a think tank cooperation agreement. Huang Feng, executive deputy director general of the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center, and Lin Hongyu, dean of the College of International Relations of Huaqiao University, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides. Focusing on high-quality subject research, the think tank cooperation will provide policy advisory services, and joint study and conduct co-working research in cooperation with foreign think tanks and domestic experts in the new economy industry. It aims to form forward-looking and innovative research results and offer useful reference for decision-making to promote the construction of the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center.

Discussion between the two sides

Lin Hongyu briefly introduced the research situation of Huaqiao University in the field of overseas Chinese and international relations. He said that the think tank cooperation would be conducive to promoting communication between the two sides, and next, they would further integrate the superior resources of the school and use the strength of the whole college to launch BRICS-related research topics as soon as possible.
